Why Choose ReWild Ranch for Elk Hunts?
- Accessible Hunts: UTV support and carefully selected blinds allow hunters to enjoy elk hunting without the exhaustion of long hikes or steep climbs.
- Comfort After the Hunt: Return to a warm lodge, hearty meals, and Sandhills sunsets — the perfect balance of adventure and rest.
- Ethical Stewardship: Every hunt honors the animal and contributes to sustainable wildlife management.
High Success, Stress-Free Hunts
At ReWild Ranch, we’re proud to offer fully guided elk hunts with an extremely high success rate. Hunts typically last three days and four nights, all-inclusive of lodging and meals. From the moment you arrive, our guides take care of every detail so you can focus on the experience — not the logistics.
- Success with Support: We guide you every step of the way, from locating bulls to preparing your shot.
- Professional Care: After the harvest, your elk is gutted, skinned, and stored in our walk-in coolers.
- Guest-Friendly: Non-hunting companions are always welcome. For just $150 per day, they can enjoy comfortable lodging, hearty meals, and even join you in the field.
We also offer professional butchering services for an additional fee of $800. This includes vacuum-sealed, custom-cut meat ready for your freezer at home.
(Note: If an elk is injured and not recovered, payment is still required, but our team will continue searching until all resources are exhausted.)
Elk Meat Hunts & Trophy Care
Our facility is equipped with modern walk-in coolers and freezers to ensure that your game and meat remain in excellent condition until your departure.
What to Bring
- Coolers: For a standard elk meat hunt, plan on bringing three large coolers.
- Head & Hide: If you’re taking the head and hide, bring at least one additional cooler per hunter.
- Truck Freezer Option: Many hunters opt to bring a full-size freezer in the bed of their pickup truck, which works perfectly.
Because of our remote location, we do not offer meat shipping — so proper planning ensures a smooth trip home with your harvest.
From Field to Table
One of the most rewarding parts of an elk hunt at ReWild Ranch is sharing the harvest. During your stay, we proudly feature elk in our Wild Harvest Dinner, paired with local flavors and served at the Copper Bison Bar. It’s a chance to raise a glass and savor the experience with your family or hunting partners.
